At the Recruitment Center, we are experts in recruiting medical professionals who want to live and work in New Hampshire or Vermont. Since the inception of our program in 1994, we have gained many years of experience linking medical professionals with practices throughout this area of northern New England. In fact we are the only resource in the region dedicated to finding and placing primary care and oral health providers at practices in New Hampshire and Vermont.
Our special focus is on placing health care providers in medical practices that treat patients in underserved areas. Although many of the practices we work with are located in small New England towns that offer a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the big city, we also recruit for more urban areas of the states such as Burlington, VT and Manchester, NH. The Recruitment Center staff has an in-depth knowledge of the cities and towns throughout New Hampshire and Vermont and we make every effort to match providers to organizations by taking into consideration the provider’s community and geographic preferences, both of which are very important to retention. Since 1994, we have worked with more than 100 practices and helped to place over 700 physicians, dentists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other healthcare providers.
We are also a resource for information on State and Federal Loan Repayment programs and the J1 Visa Waiver program. We can provide guidance in filing applications for these programs and in the availability of funds and resources in New Hampshire and Vermont.
In addition to our national marketing and outreach, we collaborate with many organizations to support the recruitment and retention of primary and oral health professionals for NH and VT. Key relationships are maintained with the following organizations: health professional training programs; stakeholders such as the NH and VT Hospital Associations, Medical and Dental Societies in both states, Area Health Education Centers; the National Health Service Corps; the National Rural Recruitment and Retention Network; and law firms that focus on healthcare and immigration including the processing of J1-Visa Waivers and H1-B Visas.
